My Experience As A House Officer

Anyway, last night, my patience frayed and I told one of the rude egomaniacs to more or less piss off.

I also told him to report me to the head of department. I just couldn't care less anymore. I'm so tired of these bastards, especially when this one is just a house officer like me.

Of course, like I expected, he did not report me to the head of department but he reported me to a medical officer. Unfortunately, because of his notoriety, the MO apparently gave him a piece of his mind as well.

A minor victory, I think. But it certainly shows the kind of attitude problem many doctors have. I also spoke to a specialist today who agreed with my opinion that this O&G department is full of insecure egomaniacs.

I will be spending the next few days discussing my situation with several people... including the aforementioned specialist (thank you so much for lending me your ears!). Hopefully, this will give me the ability to make the right decision soon.

Well, I wouldn't know. I'm not obsessed by it so looking at a picture and looking at the real thing is pretty much the same thing to me.

Actually, it's following the topic.. was just saying he's lucky to get to see ovaries and cervixes up close and personal.. and get paid for it. So it's not such a bad job after all I don't see what's so objectionable about the other one.. but hey, as I said.. telling the truth is a good way to get negative rep in here
