You have to dl the latest BIOS for your mobo from the
manufacturer support site or make a backup of your
current one by using the associated flash-tool.

Keep in mind ... all at your own risk.
I'm not sure if or why you should modify a BIOS when
you even do not know where to get it ...

But that's not my problem anyway. ^^

Hi and hello!

1stly, those BIOS-editing stuff must be done outside the Windows environment.

2ndly, the file must be extracted from the chip (they will tell you that in the program) and you can modify it.

3rdly : MODIFY it bit-by-bit. Don't do anything if you are not sure.

And finally, PLEASE DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK! DON'T DO ANY BIOS MODIFICATION ON A CRITICAL (MAIN) COMPUTER MACHINE! You have been warned!!

Unfortunately I HAPPENED to destroy my Asus VX-97 by changin' its' Energy Star logo, ( ) and the comp refused to start as usual... then hot-flash it crap happened - I accidently put the chip upside down and I smelled fried chicken, and a pop.

You can find all of these from BIOS modding websites. Do a Google search and you'll get tons of results, 'cause I don't remember the names and the URL.
