I've actually emailed ASUS about this option and their reply was:

"The memory cells of a DDR SDRAM store the data information in small capacitors that lose their charge over time and must be recharged. This process is called refresh (REF). To be useful, a DDR SDRAM must read and write data. In order to complete this task, a row must first be selected using an ACTIVATE (ACT) command, along with a bank and row address.

The setting you refer to is the timing between performing the above operations, and yes faster is lower, but this setting is best left to default values."

This doesn't particularly help me decide if there's any way of working out which might give the best stable performance according to the other settings or current memory used, etc, so if this could be expanded upon at all in a future guide update, that would be fantastic...
Im using normal value ram, Apacer D43s. Cant get it to boot @ 182fsb with 12T, 13T works perfectly though. Anyone can use 12T @ 180+ fsb noprob?
