400 gig is currently being used like mad. I acquired Showbiz DVD2 it takes Microsoft's Windows XP MCE's proprietary DVR-MS files and transcodes them to MPEG. So I still have the Barracuda in my personal PC. I transfer all the shows I want to save over to the Barracuda (about 3.5 GIG per 1 hour of video) then convert those files to MPEG (about 4 GIG per 1 hour of video) then edit the commercials out, and finally create a DVD 4.7 GIG.

All that space with superfast access comes in handy thanks

All the memories, sorry to bump this old thread, but I still have my Barracuda drive, and Just received a mate for it. ZipZoomFly had a sale 500GB SATA Barracuda for $69.00US It brought back the memories so I figured I would bump this old but not forgotten victory
