Now I guess we would just need to spend those 9 hours each day posting in forum, instead of playing Breakout,Pacman and CurveBall... ...and that should be it... (I thought it will be a mixture of forum posts and playing games again.... )

But to pick someone out of 20...by my opinion its more a lottery than a real contest...because someone might post 1000 posts...and be i.e. 1st placed...and someone else only 10 or less, and be in 20th place at the end...and then...if he is lucky enough he might be the winner, although he did only 1/100 of that 1st placed member....lottery, lottery.... (I believe there are other ways to get members to post more - if thats what its all about...and also...dont believe we need points here, cause even if someone scores 100.000....he still have only 1/20 chances to be a winner.... )

But well....Da Boss is DA BOSS here...so if thats what he wants...then who are we to argue about his decissions....hahahahahaha....lets goooooooooo,....and good luck to everyone...

LOL! Trust me, we really do not want "the best poster wins it" contest.

We tried it once and halfway through the contest, many people gave up because they assumed that one particular person (I won't mention who!! ) would definitely win the contest because he was really active!

So, it's better to give the top 20 posters an equal chance of winning the prize.

Exactly! We could tell very easily who is the most active poster in the forums, esspecially during the contests

That's why I'm messing it up a bit with extra points for good posts and now, even adding points from your referrals!

Like I said...YOU are Da Boss here...

And I also know that "the best poster wins it"...also wouldnt be a good idea...I am against that as well...

But there must have been other ways to determine who is the person who deserved it to win at the end (rather than to just randomly pick one)...i.e...maybe you could post some questions (like 1-2 each day, for as long as competition runs), and i.e...top 10 (or more-whatever you decide) people who answer it, would get points for that...so when competition would end...you could just easily add all points per member...and voilaaa...winner would be known...)...it could be also combined with each members posts that they made at that time...or maybe give some exact time (or it could be every full hour) when the post must be made each day (and closest one again scores max points...and each next one less...)...also maybe to combine that with arcade games scores....some riddle's that you could made from existing forum posts (so that members would need to search forum to find answers and post them later)...and/or with many many more other options...

Well those are just some of ideas that can be integrated into competitions...maybe in some next one...so lets leave this one as it is...and for next time...please find a way to be able to find the winner without a need to draw him/her randomly (i believe many members would prefer that)...

And since You are Da Boss...who am I to tell You about Your rules,huh?

Afterall...its up to each member to decide whether to participate or not...and also rules are the same for all of them/us...so its ok to me I guess...its a "take it or leave it" situation...and I'll surely take the chance...

I'm still wondering, what are the points for? When you got more points, does it mean that you are a more active posted? or does it mean you have a better chance of being selected as the winner?
