crew, I Like to appologise for the lateness in responese to the winning prize email

(Steel USB headphones week 2 - darren.thornberry@xxxxxxx.xxx.au) I am very sorry but as I have emailed Adrian today, who no doubt thinks I am a tosser, I am trying to rectify this by entering from home and not from the Australian Defence Dept system as they can block most incoming emails (containing certain phrases) and websites at a whim, as I found out today

After this stuff up I wish to find out on how to claim my prize, if I have missed it, well I will live and learn

Hello everyone!

Due to Darren's unique circumstances, we are going to make an exception for him.

But I will repeat to you what I wrote to him.... so everyone understands that he's not getting special treatment, and that this applies to EVERYONE participating.

Our contest rules clearly state that participants are expected to check the results and respond within 72 hours, even without receiving the e-mail. There are very good reasons why we implement such rules.

We have many contests running one after the other, sometimes simultaneously. So, if winners do not respond quickly, we MAY mess up the details and send the wrong prizes to the wrong people.

In addition, some prizes are directly delivery by the sponsoring company, whose reps don't really have time to wait for us to deliver the details of our winners in a piece-meal fashion. It gets confusing for them as well. Being tardy with our list of winners and their details irritates them and this lessens our chances of getting more sponsorship for future contests.

Finally, if we wait for ALL winners to respond at their leisure, EVERYONE will have to wait for the tardy winners who, for some reason or other, simply refuse to respond within the stipulated time.

Hope you guys understand why it is important for us to keep to a 72 hours deadline.
