Remember. Give it some lovely volts and some active cooling over it (A MUST!) as without it, the ram will not run very well (potentially damage it - plus its stock volts are 3.2v anyways.)

Last I had mine and I checked with Tony OCZ, he verified these were actually Winbond BH5 UTT. CH5's can't do stably 250Mhz at tight timings even at 3.3v. This is because CH series chips have some built in safety mechanism which would not allow OC'ing past 3.0v. UTT's may not have that enabled but I'vbe observed the old VX series burning easily at 3.3v

I'm pretty sure that the VX series used both BH- and CH-UTT chips
It was usually down to luck (or a knowledgeable retailer) to determine if you were buying BH or CH.
