Dear Wei Lun passed away on January 28, 2007. She couldn’t recovered from her fatal car accident.


Started her career in modelling, Wei Lun’s charm and beauty was spotted by TV drama producers pretty soon.

Xu Wei Lun started acting while still studying in university, and gradually gaining her fame and popularity not just by her look, but with her lovable performances in acting as well.

Wei Lun also co-star in a few super hit MVs and a very popular figure in TV commercials.

Wei Lun was probably first noticed by audience for her brief appearance in the Asia popular TV drama “Meteor Garden.” Her first popular leading role was probaby Taiwan TV drama “Love Storm” where she starred with her ex-boyfriend Zhou Yu-Ming (Vic Chou).

Wei Lun’s relationship with Vic didn’t last and ended in 2005. It’s not the end of the world, lost in love but gain in career, Wei Lun starred in 2005 Taiwan hit TV drama “Express Boy” with Mike He Jun Xiang and Wei Lun become an Asian popular star.

Most people only know Wei Lun by her acting, but little known is that she’s a talented musician. She can play piano and harp very well, and can play guitar, drum and erhu as well.

Sad to see a talented actress leaving us at such a young age, life is unpredictable… RIP my dear Wei Lun, will miss you always.

Xu Wei Lun has unfortunately passed away due to a car accident, but she had always liked to keep her thoughts in a diary. Her first book, "Dan Dan Diary" (literally 'egg egg diary'), records many of her feelings. Aside from sharing her thoughts on life and death, she also talks about her relationships with her family and friends.

Xu Wei Lun passed away at 28 years of age, date of death being January 28th. Coincidentally, the 128th page of "Dan Dan Diary" is also the page she talks about her thoughts on life and death, making 28 a 'magic number'. She says, when she was with her friends, they have once talked about the topic of death. "I have told my good friends, if one day I have to leave the world, you would all have to come in one by one to talk to me, sing songs to me, tell me how you are doing, then I can be an angel and protect you. You would always smile a bit and then scold me for talking about it."

Xu Wei Lun had always depended on those around her including friends, managers, family members. The few times there were rumours about her breaking up, it was the friendship that brought her out of depression. It took her a long to to get over her grandmother's death. When Xu Wei Lun was going into college, her grandmother suffering melancholia hung herself, leaving Xu Wei Lun very heartbroken. She had said, "At that time, I will think, why can such a good grandmother die?" 2 years ago, Wei Lun went to a psychology course, and when she talked about her grandmother's death, she could not keep in her tears and cried, then slowly she understood life and death.

Ever since she was small, Wei Lun's parents have lovingly raised her. As for her thoughts on life and death, she had once said, "If I don't live each day that happily, and I have to live until 80, then I would rather to live each day happily, and only live until 60. I lose 20 years, but I can live it very happily, the why not?"
