so you are suggesting Canon S5? but i read some where that it had a poor auto focus or something

Poor auto-focus? I don't think any camera these days have such a problem.

I'm in the market for a new digi cam now that my Canon PowerShot A75 is having some problems. I'm thinking of getting a Canon PowerShot A720 IS
NCIX.com - Buy Canon PowerShot A720IS 8.0MP Digital Camera - 2092B005 In Canada.

It's priced about ~$200. Is it the best point-and-shoot cam at that price range atm?

That's a good choice. It even has image stabilisation.

Yeah, LCD screens that can rotate are very useful.

Hi Guys, one of my collegue is offering me NIkon D70 which is 2 years old. One thing I know is the camera is been discontinued by the manufacture.
May I know is it worth getting it now? on top of that im a noob and new bees in this SLR thingy..so plan to start at low first.
