Violin

Here are some photos of my violin... you can obviously see that either 1) I don't clean it often or 2) I practice too much, judging by the amount of rosin on the violin

same thing with my feet..

always happens to my left feet everyday after work..

What grade are you with the violin?

No grade, I self taught myself the violin. I'm rather passionate about music - I play quite a few instruments, all self taught. The only instrument which I had formal teaching was the Piano..

As for my fingers... well I'm used to them, I've put them thru worse abuse in the 17 years I've been making music.

i tot after a while they will be replaced with a thicker layer of tissue?

it happened to me too when i first started playing guitar back in skool time..
now that I have thicker layer of skin and it doesn't hurt / peer off anymore.. but if i stop for months, the tissue will soften back by itself..hehe...

or maybe violin uses thinner strings?

Well.. I've not played my violin for quite a while, because I did not bring it with me to KL. And yes, violin strings are thinner than guitar strings.
