HOLY SMOKES! If there was a "Most Happening Father Of The Year Award", you'd bag it with your hands down. With such "credentials", white water rafting shouldn't pose much of a problem for you and heck I'm already rethinking my plans to visit Greymouth.

Wow... Amazing landscapes.

My parents are leaving for two weeks in New Zealand today. I think they will enjoy it there. Hope they will take pictures like these over there.

Adrian, have you heard from your parents? Hope they are having a great time in NZ My son is still there, now backpacking alone the S Island, but bound to find company in the youth hostels.

Jeremy, yeh, those extreme activities are not cheap So get saving and get your A down there real soon You won't regret it Backpacking/youth hostels keeps the costs right down. End of February/early March a great time to go - the weather is still good and the beaches deserted.

Unfortunately, no. They FORGOT to bring their mobile phones with them, so there's no way to contact them.

But with my aunt, who has been staying there for about a year, with them; I don't think they will have any problem over there.

Can't wait for them to come back and do their show and tell!!!
