believe me, if cars can travel on a building, they wont hesitate.
they will start honking once you din take the chance, say, at the roundabout. it's not just the traffic, it's their on road attitude. i respect my dad for not being in any accidents so far.

More pics! the older part of the city, lots of indians shops. Again, taken from inside the car, so it's "fading" .

ROTFL!!! But are they really that bad? Can they be worse than our motorists and motorcyclists who can drive in the opposite direction???

yes yes! motorists in Doha are real mad. they can sometimes induce a heart attack especially on a malaysian passenger like me.

which area are you at in Doha?

oh and here's a picture of one of the nicer malls in Doha-Villagio. my favorite place to go to on off days.

no, i've been there the previous visit, only not yet for this trip. Went to City Centre this morning though, and some pics too:

Pic 1: The athletes' village during the Doha Asian Games last year. too bad it will be brought down due to some cracks.

Pic 2: the zig zag towers. can see it clearer now.

Pic 3 & 4: City Centre, one of the shopping malls here.
