Default Mt. Kinabalu

this journey took away 3/4 of my life. body has broken into pieces. up and down, it was about 18.5km we took the longer masilau route.

1800m to 3800m was manageable. I suffered fron altitude sickness once i passed the 3800m mark. sleepy, headache, fever.

but the view from 4095.2m above sea level is just.... phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....

6 panadols also worth it ar!

That is COOL Zue!!!

It is amazing that your eyes freak out at that altitude as well. Everything is sooo bright. Kind of neat how the lack vegitation STOPS at a certain altitude too...

NICE PICS!

WE WANT MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ishtim: we made our final climb to the summit at 230am. the final 2-3km route took us about 3 hrs so we reached Low's peak at around 530 in the morning, just in time to welcome the sunrise. it wasn't very bright actually so we didnt have to wear sunglasses. the panaromic shot was taken at ~650am. bout the lack of vegetation, yeah you really get to see the diversity of plant life throughout the hike/climb. from rain forest to..erm.. well completely bald. will post more pics when time permits.

macdaddy: hope you like them. hiking is my newfound love but for now, i do not want to see any stairway for a month

adrian: yup, taken with a canon ixus 65 and stitched using PS
