Default More NERD stuff!

This is last weekend's effort at the "whirlpool" galaxy. Specifics: Canon 300D (old school) @ ISO 800 for ~90mins @ 3550mm zoom f/6.3.
THis is located just off the handle of the "big dipper".

i'm not really into astronomy but i do like the pictures of the multicoloured nebulas and and other gases in space. they look cool.

Ya they do but my eyes have always followed the stars

Actually have another friend online goes by the nick of GrafXman he does this type of photography and research for a living. He is supposed to send me a copy of his book when it is completed

Yes, and that's a Hubble picture.
