Happy 2009!

Took some shots from the roof of my condo. Equipment is the D300 + a 2x TC + Nikkor 70-210mm.

It's so hard to have a sharp focus at such long zoom and my camera shook so much! LOL! Anyways. here they are uncropped!

an effective 2 x 210 x 1.5 = 600mm is pretty fun. LOL!

Just checked Google Earth. KLCC from my place is about 15km point to point.

Use mirror lock up or exposure delay.

too long delay for getting the fireworks shot i suppose. i also got up only just 5 mins before they started firing.

so used timer only.

Much of it was also luck. I was just clicking my way through and hoping to get these few shots out of the 50+ i managed to take that night.

One thing though, you can sense the effects of the economy slowdown by the length of the fireworks display. Heh
