Lightning

Took these last night as a storm moved by at a distance of 12km or so. It was a really neat sight and I didnt see the colors with unaided eye. 30sec @ ISO100,18mm.
Pic4 (B&W) upped in contrast to see the idiot in motor boat going towards it.

Long shutter shots with a big old storm should yield a lot of shots. Thunderstorms in the US get pretty crazy (and cool - especially when its horizontal lightning lol).

30 sec shots. This particular storm seemed to sit in the same place for 15 mins. or so. I actually have more but to lazy to post.

Seriously, that must have been some electrical storm. Can't be that easy to take so many photos of lightning!

BTW, those shots are pretty amazing. You can really see the beauty and sheer power of those lightning strikes!
