Actually, it's a twist of an age-old snack. Do you know lok-lok? That's usually a van or a stall where they have the same variety of food. You dip the sticks into hot water and once they are cook, you take the sticks and dip them into a sauce of your choice before eating.

The difference here is that instead of cooking the food in boiling water first, you cook them directly in the satay sauce. And of course, there is no other sauce except the satay sauce!

The food has long been available in Melaka I heard.

And they add nuts and the satay sauce all the time when you are having your food.

Wow , lotsa nice food ! I want to share mine too , although not dinner, just kuih-muih for tea break

1. Kuih Cendol with 3 layers. The most bottom layer is made of brown sugar; the 2nd and the top are made of cendol mixing with condensed milk.

2. Kuih with pumpkin paste filling, orangy in colour

3. Bananas....

Hi hi , May I know where can I find such special "LutLut" in Melaka ?? Coz me might be going there soon, wanna try out

one of the famous ones is at Jln Ong Kim Wee, go there at night and just find a restaurant which is full of people.........

The other Satay Celup shop is called Capitol I think... but I much prefer Ong Kim Whee one... LOTS of people there on weekends... I'm glad my wife introduce this to me...

DAmn it!! It's beeen so looooong since I last had it....

The new shophouse one, you can eat at the back one right? Hmm... forgot about the name of the shop already.
