I was at the grocery store just now and I ran across a prime cut of beef. 7.7lbs of Beef Brisket!

MMM!

This Texan lil devil has already mixed up a rub (and rubbed it on). It is marinating in the fridge for now and bright and early tomorrow, it will be slow cooked in the oven for ~12 hours @ 275F (90-120 mins per lb) so it will be just in time for dinner.

Ain't nothing like some good Texan BBQ Beef Brisket....

Will be cooking up some BBQ sauce from scratch to go along with it tomorrow (you guys know my style)...

Will DEFINITELY post pics.

Default Armour Star Chili

Had this for the first time in a few years. So,so I guess. Not as greasy as it used to be about ten years back. Sad..., Cuz that's what made it so good.

Here's a pic of it post overnight marinate.

It was wrapped up in heavy aluminum foil, put on a pan, and tossed in the oven @ 275F and no one will see it until ~7pm...
