Sorry for going off topic, how do you calculate one F-stop? Both Aperture and Shutter? Thanks!

1 F-stop =

f/1.0 -> 1.4 -> 2.0 -> 2.8 -> 4.0 -> 5.6 -> 8.0 -> 11 -> 16 -> 22 -> 32 etc

or

1/15s -> 1/30s -> 1/60s -> 1/120s -> 1/240s etc but most cameras usually don't have these numbers so practically, this is more or less the same:
1/2 -> 1/4 -> 1/8 -> 1/15 -> 1/30 -> 1/60 -> 1/125 -> 1/250 -> 1/500 -> 1/1000 etc

Is there any formula, or do I have to memorise all that?

The apertures are based on a sequence of square root of 2... i.e.

if x = 2^(1/2) (or 1.4142135623730950488016887242097) then the sequence is

0x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, ... (n-1)x, nx

And the shutter speed... it's basically doubling/halving... except that the camera doesn't have certain values so I took the next closest speed.

But from 5.6 -> 8.0 -> 11 -> 16 -> 22 -> 32 isn't following the formula anymore... or is it?

Thanks for the explanation!

0^(1/2) -> 1^(1/2) -> 2^(1/2) -> 4^(1/2) -> 8^(1/2) -> 16^(1/2) -> 32^(1/2) -> 64^(1/2) -> 128^(1/2) etc
