Hmm.. Somehow, it's better to take lilies from the top, to show all its petals. The profile shot doesn't seem quite so interesting.

Your lotus is very nice, maybe little closer would be better?
And your water lili, i think you should (like adrian said) took it little higher to get better angle.

I can't get any closer on the Lotus, and I was at full zoom already

The lilies, I can't get a nice angle on the lilies from the top, I have a lot of shots, but the one posted are actually better than the ones shooting from the top...hmm...

I will try to shoot some tomoro. It's just in my house garden!
