haha.. just finished the advance rally technique but what i dun like is that the car really fly up and flip like crazy if you bump into something at 100 KMH.. it would be more logic if the 100 in MPH to fly like that.. but anyway its a great game.. you have logitech steering wheel, chai? how much it cost?(RM)

Don't underestimate the speed of 100KMH. 100KMH can do massive destruction to the car, and don't forget Rally cars are light. Yeah, maybe the off track excursion is a bit unrealistic... But overall, this game is easily the most realistic rally sim available, closely behind is Rally Trophy, a very unknown game, based on classic rally cars like Lancia Stratos (the most modern in the game) etc...

I'm using Logitech Momo Racing, the cheaper model, couldn't find the high end model Momo Force here. I bought at RM325 I think.

heard of the Logitech GrandTourismo4 Wheel that was just released?

it has a whopping 900-degrees rotation for the wheel itself!
made for the GT4 game primarily, IIRC. not sure whether drivers for the PC are good enough to incorporate the 900-degree feature into racing games.

retailing at about USD200, i saw one unit selling in a shop already for about RM700+. parallel imported from Japan, of course. hehe.
coz i doubt the Logitech distributors would want to bring in something that not many can afford.

The most visible upcoming Logitech product was the Driving Force Pro steering where for PS2. The wheel was at a major presence at both the Logitech and Sony booths. Besides carrying the formidable Driving Force name, the wheel is Gran Turismo 4 branded. A nice little logo in the center of the wheel tells you so. The Wheel also got the royal treatment from Logitech. It's so heavily built that it resembles the outstanding MOMO wheel for PC. The wheel itself is covered with soft, thick rubber. The textured surface is about as comfortable as materials get. As you can see in the pics, it comes with a shifter and a pedal pad. You race fans will appreciate the wheel's 900 degrees of rotation. This means that you can spin it a few times before hitting the edge. Many wheels have a mere 180 degrees of motion. The Driving Force Pro's spin makes it feel much more realistic. The Driving Force Pro will launch with GT4 - late 2003 or early 2004. We should get review units early. I got to play with it a good deal today and can tell you that the review will be very positive.
