exactly.
everyone knows nearly everything in the world can eventually be cracked. but it takes time.
and that's a very long time indeed. for example, Toca Race Driver 2 still has never been successfully cracked yet due to the advanced anti-piracy thingy embedded into the game.

this move by Valve is a definitely positive way to combat piracy. if the consumers can't get their hands on the proper cracked version and have to wait, most likely they won't wait and go grab the original (unless their lowlife cheapskates. )

Are you sure? The way I see, more than 95% of Malaysians don't buy original games, and even if they do, they will still continue getting pirated version.

The protocol 6 only took a few days to crack again.

eehhe yeah got the new 'rig' around august/sept but way way out of your league ler shockk... now im shy to show up at your LAN party! 'rig' setup will be sufficient to play HL2 with all eye candy off just like Doom3

anyway... chai's got tons of 'chicks' hanging around him.

I'm glad Valve did that myself. HL2 is a game that no one should need to pirate - it was WAY worth the US$50.
