Are there any known problems with Cyborgs?

I don't mean actual "cybernetic organisms" but the Saitek Cyborg EVO series of joysticks.
I'm thinking of buying one, probably the FF version, since my old joystick (a MS Sidewinder Precision Pro) is running out of support. (No drivers for Win XP and no game-port on new motherboards.)

I like the ergonomic details of the Cyborg, but don't know about the technical reliability. Does anyone of you have any experience to relate?

Unfortunately, no. I have no experience with the Saitek Cyborg.

Now I've had a chance to feel a 'borg, and it seems allright.
I'll most probably buy the FF version when I upgrade my computer.

For flightsims it should! Another aspect is that if I buy the plain version it doesn't even feel like an upgrade but only an involuntarily forced update.

(If MS provided support for the Sidewinder to work with XP I'd rather just buy an USB-Gameport adaptor. After all I've only had that joystick for seven years...)
