How do you kill the Hell boss in Doom 3???

I fought all the way to Hell.. and now I'm stuck trying to kill the boss.

They keep hinting that I should kill those sentries before killing the boss but whenever I kill them, more appear!

What's the secret to killing the Hell boss?

The Boss is blind without his sentries! keep killing them. Look for a blue light above the Guardian's head this is what your aiming for.

Shoot first, then shoot sum more, and at the end keep shooting! it takes alot of ammo to kill dat boss.

or take the easy way out and cheat like papercut

I played C&C when I was 9...never actually played Doom but I played various other id software games but basically I think anyone who played PC games at that time knew about the Doom culture

But seriously, I spend my time shooting those sentries but they keep regenerating!!

I've been using rockets on them.. until I ran out of rockets.

use the AR to kill the minions, and fire the rockets and bfg at the bossmans head. took me about 15 mins, but i eventually killed him.

p.s. i rec. u give FarCry a try, if haven't already, good story and nice graphics.
