I think Wii is a good name because it is unusual. It draws a lot of attention to itself. Look at how much discussion it already generated! There are hundreds of thousands of people discussing the name on the internet. Talking about the good and the bad of the name. The amount of publicity it generated is what makes it a good choice.

Anywho, if you don't like it's new name, you can always call it Revolution, since there will be probably others that will.

Man, "Wii" should be pretty confusing if you're French since it sounds like "Yes" in French....

Arr ye frenchies. Yeah, I know what you mean. Most major topics cross boards, etc...trying not to say the same thing in words can often be a problem when stating your particular position on any given subject. Pretty cool that we cross paths more often than not, though...like minded individuals for the win!
