Default Very Nice Flying Sim

Aces High 2 is a great flying sim, there is a two week free-trial and then its 15$ a month, kind of pricy, but there is no other game that has this kind of open air combat feel to it.

I definitly just wanted to let people know about this game.

Here's the link http://www.hitechcreations.com/frindex.html

My name on there is Ivangroz if you see me playing. I love this game but sadly I can't afford the 15 dollar a month fee as I already play WoW and that would be a bit much to pay for.

This looks like a great game. So great, that a free trial will lure you into paying a hefty fee each month.

I hope that this trend does not catch on.

too bad i don't like flying sims. the only game that almost lured me to buy the full retail version was Battlefield 2. the online multiplayer demo was crazy-fun. WOW came in second..one day if the monthly fee drops, i might take it up.

Monthly fees arn't that bad really, I thought that 12 dollars a month (if you pay 6 months all at once in advance) was bad for the subscription to WoW, but I then soon realized all my gaming time was occupied by WoW, at least when I was leveling up to 60. So I found I actually saved money because I didn't go out and buy any new games, I only payed the 12 a month to play WoW.

12$/month!
... and people think a one-off 125$ is expensive for a game, including worldwide p&p and some future upgrades (addons)?

Gosh $125 ? that's a lot for a game.. most games here are about $50 or less.

A matter of definition.
WoW cost more than $40 just for the basic game files, and then you have to pay more than $120 per year to actually play the game.
The $125 I mentioned doesn't really refer to a game, but to a professional military training tool that I and several others have bought to use as a game. (Read this thread on the subject.)

Cheers
