counterstrike 1.6

its old i know, but its one of the biggest competitave games on the planet right now.

my play setup is as fallows-

my home rig-in my signature

razer pro v1.6 on a func 1030 archetype mouse surface
IBM p202 black: 21" trinitron, matches my rackmount and rack casings.
i play at 1024x768 at 100hz, with vsync forced.
play with 4xAA 16xAF ,framerate doesnt drop below 90[thing with antialiasing and smoke grenades]

its smooth, i like it and i like the game.

I play more Source than 1.6, but 1.6 is still fun whenever you are bored, or Steam releases a big ass update for source...

i play more on tournaments so i use the pc they give us..

i just wanna ask .. whether cs tournament throughout the world is using cs 1.6 as official ?

if your asking about the CPL, i think yes.

yes 1.6 is official.. though some are trying source... but it isn't the same...

i tried Source online..it was really different..and laggy. blah. i don't like 1.6, still love cs beta for the speed

i use 640x480 for it, especially in lan games..fast fast fast!!

I've played CS since beta 3.3 back in 1999. Tired of this game.. LOL! Gave it up for good finally. Now playing BF2... As if Steam wasn't bad enough, DICE and EA are equally pathetic..

BTW, there are source leagues... CAL, CPL, TWL etc...

Me hates leagues... Too much drama and nubs that ruin the game.

i played in CAL almost for a while season, but half our matches had cheaters. and our disputes always got shot down, even with solid evidence. its pretty bad when you can use paypal to get a spot in cal.
