As a side game, it featured a cheap looking old fashioned western hand gun that you used to shoot ducks etc in a shooting gallery.Another side game had bats that swooped from side to side until you shot them.

There was/is a game named "Carnival" that fits your your discription,,, If the gun was "on screen". screen shot 3'rd click in on this slide show. http://www.slideshare.net/wuzziwug/e...e-games-part-1 Was fun game. I got it on MAME, on one of my older pc's.

When you say "side game",, "coffee table", do you mean a cocktail version? (a small table top coin-op) Use google you should be able to find it there.

Reputation: 28 ![]() Rep Power: 5 | Maybe it's the lenght of time since I played them that had me thinking that they were all one game but you were right again. The bat bird game was Phoenix.By side game I mean't game within game & coffee table game was referring to table top gaming.Found some phoenix screenshots on a site called coinop.org.I'm sure Carnival did have a side game because it wouldn't have been much of a game as a stand alone. Thanks for clearing it up.
