They do a good job of keeping you on the edge of your seat too. haha. Supposedly ~20 hours of game play and the replayability is said to be real good. Its so good that I bought some spare ram so I could continue playing it. Here's some screenies of the game's biggest baddest enemy. The Big Daddy (and the little sister - who calls Big Daddy 'Mr Bubbles'). The Little Sister goes around drawing blood from corpses to harvest stem cells (known as ADAM). She harvests it by drinking the drawn blood. Big Daddy (Mr Bubbles) protect's the Little Sister and whoever so foolishly tries to disturb the little sister would be dealt with swiftly. You can pick a fight if you want or just leave them be (they won't attack you but you will get aimed at while the little sister is harvesting and you will get slapped out of the way by the big daddy). Big daddy is VERY VERY tough... Once you (ADAM is important - can get more powers) deal with the annoyance of Big Daddy, you can then harvest the ADAM from the Little Sister. From there you can either extract it by killing the Little Sister (get more ADAM) or you can save the Little Sister by removing the parasite from her body (thus saving her life - becomes a normal little girl) but at the cost of less ADAM. However there are perks associated with saving the lives of the little sisters (no spoilers here - short term gain or long term gain basically).

This game is still not as hyped up as Crysis is (which I'm also eagerly waiting for). It's efficiency is also a great feat indeed. Having its 'recommended' specs to be the current generation's midrange is almost unheard of now days (games that need next gen solutions to run well).

Plus the story doesnt really appeal to me, especially the big daddy and the little girl thing, doesnt make much sense, maybe i need to play through the whole game to find that out, i dunno and the fact that my friend was bashing the game as he was showing the demo to me doesnt help either.

This game is based off the new Unreal Engine 3.0 and it is by far the best implementation I've seen of it yet (Rainbow Six Vegas used it too). Water is real detailed. If you get hit with water, view becomes distorted (like water draining off glass) and beads of water will stay. All reflections are live too. Particles in this game is one of the best I've ever seen.

Can't please everyone I guess (everyone else I know loves it). Though I will concede although the graphics is really nice, crysis looks to be nicer (MM! Me eagerly awaits). Game play is solid though. I highly recommend that you go out and try it for yourself. I'd have to say this is the best FPS since umm say Oblivion..
