that's my whole point.

if u want to play at medium quality (or anything below medium), you might as well jsut stick with farcry because to really enjoy crysis, the graphics has to be set to high (dx9), or very high (dx10)

for this game, GPU will be the bottleneck, at least for the coming 2 to 4Qs. so be it 64bit, or 32bit, its not going to make a lot of differences, not until NV/ati release a new gen of card that offers 2x the performance of current gen GPU.

hack: Is there dedicated support for 64-bit and dual- and quad-core processors, and if so how does the game distribute its tasks? Do you suggest a higher-clocked dual-core over a quad-core, or is quad-core performance enough to give it the edge?

Cevat Yerli: We support both 64-bit and multi-cores. Multi-core will be beneficial in the experience, particularly in faster but also smoother framerates. 64-bit and higher memory will yield quicker loading times. We recommend quad core over higher clock.

Yup, saw that too. But take a look at his statement in the Gamespot interview. He did say that 64-bit Crysis will run better than 32-bit Crysis, especially for the higher settings.

Well run better isn't exactly specific.

If it loads faster it still constitutes as better I guess.

But hmm!

Quadcore 45nm time...
