Oh, okay. BTW, the "loss" of system RAM addressability is also due to the graphics RAM.

With two GeForce 8800 GTX in SLI, that's 1.5GB of graphics RAM, about 1GB more than the "usual" system. Time to go 64-bit! Hehehe..

SLI
SLI? I don't even have a dual 8x slot, let alone a 680i motherboard. It will be a full system upgrade for me. No way I'm going SLI.

Ok, I have been hearing people saying that they cant run Crysis at high settings. I have everything set at and the antial... I think at 4. My system is running perfectly fine. I just added another 4GB and the system went up in point on the 3dmark test.

I want to try over clocking my gpu next. I was only about to oc my e6850 to 3.6.

But Crysis hasnt dragged my system yet...plus is anyone in the alien ship? I am lost and cant get out of that place!

the alien space ship was awesome! You just hang on and while waiting, you can whack those asses or have a tom and jerry game with them... the huge door will eventually open by itself and if u get into the stream you will be sucked out..just hang on..

the ending, though, is a big big disappointment.

my framerate was quite decent throughout the game but once i hit the final showdown with the useless monster who has got two gigantic testicles hanging for dear life, my gts was totally pwned and all i saw was pure power point slides. I didn't know what I was shooting but somehow i managed to get through. The final shot was absolutely ridiculous because you are required to nuke the "starfish" of the monster. Woohhoo....

the gameplay in the mid of the game was fantastic, but overall it's just plain dumb to develop a game that no current card can render.

Does anyone know what kind of graphics cards the developers use when they are building these games? I was just wondering what they test with.

If u run at low resos like 1280 and on DX9 then yes High setting is not a problem.

For hi resos like 1680, 1920, 2560, DX10. Even my rig cant take it. I'm playing at only Medium settings, 2560 reso, DX10.
