my config was 1280, DX9 high.
vista64, 4GB, 8800GTS 320, 3.4Ghz C2D.

playable, but like i said, the last stage..wheee...got pwned, totally.

Im running an 8800 GTX with a 24" monitor running at 1920 and all the setting in Crysis are set to high with no problems. The only slowing I saw was when your fight that giant walking spider machine and all of the alien octopus hings are flying around. Other than that the game hasnt slowed.

Yep...I didnt like Vista too much? But I mean running DX9 at High looks great to me.

is it only popular becouse of ultra awesome graphics of the game is really above all other?

Graphics is just part of it. Its a really awesome game like how Far Cry was.

Squad AI is really good in this game (I get flanked and naded all the time).

not really. the gameplay is equally kickass but the ending is a disappointment.

It can't be as bad as assassin's creed ending can it?

I'm planning on getting Crysis and call of duty 4 once I get my graphic card upgraded.

If u havent upgraded yet then hang on till the next gen of graphics comes in b4 u play Crysis coz it just kills the rig right now. I'm running 8800GTX SLI, Quad cores, 4gb ram and I still cant play it with all the eye candy on.

As far as I can tell, NVIDIA doesn't yet have a 8800 GTX/Ultra replacement.

Anyway, Crysis is ridiculous. You need to overclock the GeForce 8800 GTS just to get over 30 fps at 1600x1200 on High. They need to come up with a "performance patch" pronto!
