I'm going to try tonight.

It's actually software problem, not hardware.

They yanked it by the time I got back from work.

Oh well, I'll just wait for the rerelease. No real rush.

There's one thing I don't like about the new in-game XMB, it doesn't pause the game.

i need some PS3 advice.

my friend bought his PS3 from singapore [NTSC J] but system shows PAL

he bought a TV here in the US.

connect to the TV & gets black&white fuzzy image (because of PS3 PAL output)

connect using HDMI but unsuccessful (TV shows unsupported format) TV is a Samsung 550 series TV with 1080 support.
