Default Atari 2600

Hi everyone.

Look at my "new" toy!

Back in the day,,, 1978... (AD)

The Atari 2600 was THE best video game console. I prayed for one the first year for Christmas, and did not get one.

Next year, Got one for Christmas! (Thanks Dad).

Recently I dug it out, and tried to get it working but it was dead.

So e-bay to the rescue... $30 + $12 shipping and 7 days later... Wala!!! A brand new looking a +20 year old console for trin. I know there are emulators for the pc, But I just had to have the hardware again.

So, Any old school'ers out there still have one of these in the closet? They are getting quite valuable! I got a "deal" on mine for $30 usd.

The (big brother) 6502's were in all the computers (in the day).

Talking Defender

When I came home from "a long hard day at putt-putt arcade". I got my special order defender cart in the mail while I was out.

Played all night.... Hmmmmm
