I'd take a look at what other games the consoles have to offer and then buy the console that has some nice games you'd like.

In a pretty confusing manner, there are three games covering the FF XIII world.

Final Fantasy XIII is PS3 exclusive in Japan but will be released on the Xbox 360 in the US as well as a PS3 release. Final Fantasy Versus XIII is a PS3 exclusive, and Final Fantasy Agito XIII for the PSP.
