Hmm... Is there anyway to download the COMPLETE 100+ mb installation file? The one on the website is only like 1 mb in size and it downloads the rest during installation (kinda like IE installation)...

Btw, anyone tried playing the original DOS version under DOSBox? I tried but keep getting screwed up graphics after you encounter an alien race...

Music (the best I've seen in a game) and everything else works fine though!

And believe it or not... Wiki actually has an entry for the game!

Yess!!! Finally got my Star Control 2 working under DOSBox! Everything works fine just like the golden old days!

Hmm? Wut problems are you facing in the first place?

To get Star Control 2 to run properly in DOSBox, make sure you run starcon2.exe with these two parametres... First, /g:bios... To make sure you load the proper colour template from the bios... Else you are bound to get screwed up graphics at some point in the game (I did

Two, /s:sblaster... To ask the game to use Sound Blaster and not any other cards... By default, if you don't specifiy this, the game may use Gravis or some other cards which may cause DOSBox to malfunction and subsequently hang/quit the game.
