For those who dunno wat is this, is the open source project started by the makers themselves of Star Control 2, an all time classic.

You can download from there as well, but mind you the full installation is over hundred megs.

I LOVE Star Control! Hey Tung, remember the good old days when we used to play Star Control against each other in the old computer lab? Hehe...

Star Control 2 was also fantastic. Loved it.

After checking the website, I'm still not clear on what project this is...

The screenshots are taken from Star Control 2, allright... So why bother porting from 3D0 when there is already a PC version of Star Control 2?

I think that's because someone still holds the copyrights on the PC version.

As this one is free, and is design to run on modern OS. Try running the original DOS version if you can find it.

Wow, is it really THAT nice... goldfries, how does it compare with the original PC version of Star Control 2?

And is this Ur-Quan Masters completely finished already... (full version downloadable?)

10 years ago i started playing this game, and now finaly I finished it! YES!!!!!

Only one thing.....NO ENDING!!!

Hope they include it soon.
