I mean, its pretty nice, it has a good atmosphere, you get a nice dose of fear as you inch forward, waiting for the next booby trap to take you out... But the bugs, omg... As for giving squads orders, well... they should have given them a brain... I couldnt complete a mission because I had to bring my team toghether, and the stupid recon guy kept jumping off the cliff to regroup, killing himself each time... X2 : tried it. Looked good. But the controls... Maybe if you have 4 hands with 8 fingers each, and a special brain capable of handling those... Its a space sim, nothing to do with XIII (another waste of HD space... XIII is cool for 15 mins, but after that... and the way they slaughtered Major Jones... I cant forgive them for that ! ). If you like RPGs, Beyond Divinity is out. Looks pretty cool. OK, gfx are still ugly, but hey, Divine divinity was even uglier and it still was a very good game. |
