Yeah, then it's worth it. But it's not worth buying an extra GB to get 2 GB.

They use Hynix HY5DU56822BT-D43 chips, which are the same ones used on high-end Corsair and OCZ RAM

Which means they can do upwards of FSB250

.. i have the 256MB per stick version

need more RAM!~

Hopefully mine's ready... At least for low detail.

I can get average 20-30 fps in CS-Source with everything at high detail (no AA/AF though) at 1024x768... I doubt HL2 will be as forgiving although they use the same engine... The physics/objects/landscape/AI in HL2 will be overpowering.

if dx9 sux, then u may go with dx8 paht..
aiya no need worry la...
valve isn't that stupid ..they wouldn't develop a game solely for dx9 platform....else they would earn goat's hair..
