More Memory or a New Graphci Card to play Warcraft 3 - Page 2

heh.. my celeron 433 @ 488 .... 256sd & gf4 mx 440 !~ ..

... gameplay slow nia... graphics no prob...

........

never tested warcraft 3 on my pc yet .......

tested NFS full graphics.... & gta3 1280x1024x32 ..

..

nfs horpursuit gameplay lag when opponents arround...
gta slightly lag a bit ... with any display setting..

planning to get p4 1.8/2.0 ghz..

.. & p4x400 & maybe if can afford 512 ddr333 ...

Of course la U using GF4 man Is time to change you CPU.... I believe there will be more new and nice game coming out !!!

I tot warcraft depends more on your RAM then your graphics card? cuz I think warcraft doesn't need high FPS like serious sam..correct me if I'm wrong

If you try to run at 1600x1200 max detail, you will definitely need a more powerful graphics card.

But yes, 512MB is recommended to play WC3.

howdy,
OK i am an AMD poster child. so my vote goes for the AMD box.
i cant comment on WC but my AMD box runs Q3A with all OGL extensions and all settings maxed with no lag at all.
GeF4 Ti 4200 has yet to met a game it cant handle with ease.
