Reputation: 2276 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rep Power: 43 | hey guyz.. i've a big big problem .. i cant use my Maxtor hard disk at all .. when i boot up .. i get ntfs.sys BSOD .. then when i use the XP cd .. i still get ntfs.sys BSOD .. i had to disconnect the hard disk .. i'm using my older hard disk now .. i wanna recover the other hard disk .. even when i plug the hard disk as slave or on other channel .. my xp will crash .. basically i dont know how to boot to that hard disk at all ![]() |

I had problems with bad mobos writing random corruptions to my hard disk a long time ago. |

Reputation: 87 ![]() Rep Power: 0 | Well if your able to use an older disk, it cant be the motherboard or the ram. I would go with the hard disk is just dying. Have you gone to maxtors site and downloaded theyre lifeboat tool or w/e I think its suppose to predict when your harddrive is dead. And this just happened out of the blue? |
