Got my new case today...Antec P160, side panel window version. Don't think I'll keep it for long though...the cooling is not very customisable (can't use my 120x38mm Sanyo Denki at the front ) and a lot of dust is going to get in...and because of the drive mounting system, I can't use my Aerogate II either (and it doesn't match anyway, I bought the black one with the Centurion 530 in mind)

That is a very sexy case despite your issues with it

The insides are like my chenming (antec may have gotten the chassis from them.. ) and yeah. HDD arrangement was a big gripe for me coz it impeeds the airflow.

That hard drive configuration is more than perfect. It makes the air flow in over the drives shorter side allowing more air to flow over less surface space. if it's anything like the Antec Sonata I had last year (looks like the same guts) I think you might be surprised at how cool one 120mm fan can keep your components.

hehe it should work fine.

i have a super lanboy and i like the HD configuration.
the front fan is definitely more than enough to cool the system. and I believe all the antec cases use the same 120mm fan...
i have a 3.8GHz P4 running in it and despite the slow 120mm intake, case ventilation hasn't been an issue to me

But the cage itself impeeds airflow. I like the side mounting.

Hehe I know. Thanks

About the HDDs and ventilation...my components are kept nice and cool, but my main gripe is that I can't have positive case pressure, and the front bezel has got small holes all around the perimeter. I hate dust
Like PsY said, a side intake would be nice, but that would spoil the side panel design.
Oh well...just use it until the local e-tailer starts bringing in the Centurion 530

Okay, here's a picture of my room.

Now, does anyone else have a PCI slot fan like the one I have in this second pic? I was so surprised as to how efficient these things are!!! The temp of my video card in that third pic is at load!! The best temps I've gotten at idle were 66C!! I don't even think the arctic cooling can do better than that!!!

Anway, I just wanted to share my thoughts....

To be honest, imo these are crap in its purest kind, doing more harm to overall system thermal than anything else, destroying any "healthy" airflow.
But that's just my POV. ^^

Nice room and setup (except this slot-fan ^^) btw. ...
