Hey!

I'm building an extremely (top notch) gaming system. I need your opinions on good cases and cooling solution.

The system specs are:

AMD X2 4800+
4GB PC4800 DDR Ram (don't know which brand yet)
Asus A8N-SLI Premium
EVGA 7800GTX - SLI (2)
WD 150GB Raptor (2 in RAID 0)

I'm looking for an extremely good case, price is best to be at least $100 USD. The case must be top notch and very high end, maybe looking like Voodoo's or Alienware's cases? I am also in need of a good liquid cooling solution.

Any ideas? I usually build servers, so I don't have much knowledge of good desktop hardware.

(I know this config is overkill.)

If you don't know much about desktop hardware, don't ever go for watercooling.

I do have a lot of exp. of building desktops, but I just don't know what's good.

The system is not for me, I'm actually building it for someone else. Turns out that the ram will be Crucial Ballistix Tracer PC3200 2GB. 4GB of PC4800 was a little overkill, it's way too expensive... The system won't be overclocked much, so ram won't have a huge impact on the performance?

I also will not be building a water cooling solution, the EVGA 7800GTX will be the "KO" edition, which includes custom cooling I think.

Also, how does the LianLi case compare with the Antec P180? This is probably the second most expensive computer I've ever built, so just making sure what's better.

actually on A64 platform, you do not have to OC the ram as anything higher than 200 doesn't bring you any significant improvement. thats the wonder of the a64's intergrated controller. it allows the ram to run independently (not on the FSB anymore).

PC70 is extremely spacious but it's not as sophisticated as P180.

if u want the best component to oc, A8N32 should be your board. not a8n-sli as it *****es too much.
