Reputation: 0 ![]() Rep Power: 0 | Hello guys, I'm having an issue installing Windows Media Center Edition 2005 with SP2 from scratch. I'm using a SATA II PCIe RAID 2PORT controller to create a RAID0 with two 300GB SATA II 3Gb hard drives, I was able to create the array, the installation starts ok, it loads the controller drives ok, (Silicon Image Sil 3132 SoftRaid5 Controller), so the floppy it's accessed fine, after i create the partition, the installation tries to copy the driver files from the floppy drive, and it gives this error: "Setup cannot copy the file: Si3132r5.sys", I got the same message for all the other driver files on the floppy. I've tried everything possible, I'm deciding to return the card. The weird thing is that I was able to install Windows XP Professional perfectly. I'd really appreciate any suggestions. Thank you. |
