Erm, if you are not familiar with memory settings, just drop the memory divider to keep it within stock, while jacking up the HTT.

Don't be in a rush to overclock and mess with the BIOS settings.

Get your system up and running at stock speed and default settings. Then only think about overclocking and optimizing.

For details on BIOS settings, take a look at our BIOS Optimization Guide (http://www.rojakpot.com/bog.aspx). You can get directly to the simplified version here - http://www.rojakpot.com/freebog.aspx.

Hi there thank you for your reply, I have been overclocking for sometime now and have this Opteron 165 at 2.8GHz stable, but like I said this motherboard is quiet new to me so I am not to sure on some of the coms settings like the Sb to Nb, and some of the Memory Configuration’s as listed below, I have my memory timings at
3-8-3-3 running at 255Mhz wit a 166 divider and a frontside bus of 312 at 1.47 volts using water-cooling CPU temperature 39c – motherboard temperature 36c under full load using prime 95 on both cores, I would like to no about these settings is that I think they are holding this chip back from gaining higher speeds.

I have burned this chip in now for 10 full days using prime 95 with a time of 24 hours each day and it has remained stable, but when I try and go higher wit the front side bus the system is unstable even though I have set the memory divider to 133 so I don’t think it is the memory holding it back, but saying this it could be some of the settings that I am not sure of that may need relaxing to achieve a higher front side bus.

Any help would be most appreciated.
