Guys....I've got a good news and a bad news to tell you. The good news is my burner now burns DVD, I mean it actually finish the disc, not like last time, I solved this with a quick change of software, from Nero 6.6.0.1 to 6.6.0.8. But the bad news is the disc that is burn out cannot be read~! Well, to be more specify, it can be read, but when I wanna watch the .avi file that I've burned in directly from the disc, the burner cannot load it, the same when I wanna copy out the disc, the burner act the same. Can anyone help me with this???

can you try reading the disc on a dvd-rom ?

haven't, cos my DVD-ROM drive is also a "picky" sony. Will try at my company's PC tomorrow.
