Hmm, I read on the box that it's only 800 DPI. Is that true? How does 800 DPI differ from 2000 DPI in the real world?

I ask because the MX1000 is on sale for 42 bucks! That's like $25 off retail, if not more.

I meant the difference is HUGE! Now I'm dying for a better mouse, but that have to come later, maybe a next gen model. I don't really think G5 is my perfect mouse yet.

Although today I noticed that with a mail-in rebate, it's $22 on Amazon.
