I think it's a nice common ground to test LCD response whilst ignoring manufacturers' bs specs. Tested both my monitors, my faithful old BenQ FP557 and my new Viewsonic VA902. FP557 got 11.6ms for Chase yellow and 18.3ms for red. The blue block was a little bit weird so I didn't take note of the result. You'll probably see what I mean when you run the test. Readability test: completed tempo 8, gave up at 9. VA902: 26.6ms for Chase yellow, 36.6ms for Chase red, couldn't read the letters beyond tempo 6 I really regret buying this monitor now ![]()

I was skeptical about the response time of LCD at first, because I would say I'm quite choosy when comes to I/O devices, and I'm glad I got this monitor. No turning back! No freaking way. Quote:
