Get a A64 3500+ as a bare minimum but if you like to overclock and ave money get a A64 3200+. I still think you should have waited for the release of the the AM2 on May 23rd then prices os S939 would go down.

Hi Guys thanks for your advice! Werty you say the AM2 is out the end odf May but how long would it take for the 939 prices to drop and by how much do you think?
Vfrex: I never knew about the 5% drop...I may just reconsider a pcie card!

Its impossible to know when prices will fall and by how much. Its all guess work as to when but it should. There is not problem if you don't want to wait

Indeed, it's primarily a wait and see thing which you'll really have to keep your ears peeled to know when it's going to happen. I predict it like this: One morning you will wake up, have your usual morning fix, hop on the PC and find out that BOOM!, AMD's prices are dropping on the S939.
