Reputation: 871 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rep Power: 14 | Lets tok about emu..how to optimize, tech issue or anything related to emu i got a used emu y'day..setup is tricky but once got it work it was brilliant but would like to try use ASIO..any guide how to use asio with foobar? another my problem is how wana run 2 soundcard? i wana run emu together with prodigy lt..but seems both crash my pc after installed any idea ot trick to run 2 soundcard? |

And it doesn't seem to play back any other than 44KHz (normal for most music files). Don't bother with resampling because the only thing it does is increasing CPU load. As for running 2 sound cards, some may work, most don't. Many people tried to run both EMU and Audigy together because one has good output, the other has good gaming support. Both will conflict because they share some drivers. I managed to run both onboard and EMU. EMU for foobar playback only, no disturbance to my music. |

When I said this, I meant that if you set 44KHz in Patchmix, then you are only able to playback 44KHz files. Maybe you can try installing the Prodigy first, then EMU. See if that works. Breakout cable? Nah, not necessary. |
